Louise Clark Gill, 86, of Ridgeville, wife of Robert Gill died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 1 o’clock at Givhans Baptist Church, 2140 Old Beech Hill Road, Ridgeville, SC 29472. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery #2.
Friends may visit at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 until 8 o’clock Friday evening.

Mrs. Gill was born August 27, 1923 in Vance, South Carolina, daughter of Jessie James Clark and Bertie Lee Mitchum Clark. She was a graduate of Holly Hill High School and attended Business College. She enjoyed gardening, canning and enjoyed preparing meals and giving cards to her church family. She retired from Sears as service manager and was a member of Givhans Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are: son and daughter: Steven Gill and his wife Mary of Ridgeville and Patricia Smith and her husband Earl of Brandon, Mississippi, 7 grandchildren: Robbie Smith of Mississippi, Julie Milam (Stephen) of Texas, Gary Smith (Casey) of Louisiana, Richard Gill and Robert Gill both of Texas, Jaymi Gill of Charleston and Andy Gill (Tabitha) of Alaska, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, 1 brother and 4 sisters:: Albert Clark, Crystal Fournier, Doris Aytes, Emma Lee Stump and Mildred Teachout.
