Obituary

Albert O. Carpentier, age 76, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.



He was born in Lowell on May 1, 1933, the son of the late Oliver Carpentier and Marie Rose (Sasseville) (Carpentier) Pelletier.



Prior to his retirement, Albert was employed as a controller with the hydro plant in Lowell for several years. Earlier in his life, he was a machinist in the Lowell area for many years.



He enjoyed hunting and fishing and coaching baseball.



He is survived by his four children and their spouses, Richard and Pauline Carpentier of Nashua, Donald and Cheryl Carpentier of Tyngsboro, Jacqueline and Daniel Kanellos of Lowell and Diane and Edward Brunelle of Maine; a sister, Claire Aubin of Merrimack, NH; eleven grandchildren, Jamie and Lisa Carpentier, Billy, Bobby and Jeff Carpentier, Jennifer Paveglio, Renee and Paul Tierney, Nikki and Peter Kanellos, and Anastasia Rodriguez; also thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.



At his request, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 10 o'clock at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Dracut. Interment will be private.
