Janice B. Leonard, 72, of Manchester, died January 22, 2010, following a period of declining health. She was born May 7, 1937, in Manchester, and was the daughter of John and Helen(Bohan) Zawisza.
She had been a member of St. Raphael Parish.
Janice was a graduate of St. Hedwig grammar school, and St. Joseph High School for girls.
For 18 years she worked for Harborside NH, formerly Northwood nursing home. Prior to that she had worked at the NH Insurance company.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Family members include seven children; Mark Leonard, of Auburn, Tim Leonard, of Port Charlotte FL, Maura Sutherland, of Homer, AK, Jill Lombardo, of Loudon, Jack Leonard, of Port Charlotte FL, Lisa Mignault, Joseph P. Leonard III, both of Manchester; 14 grandchildren; a sister, Susan Ayers, of Epsom; 2 aunts, cousins, 1 niece, 1 nephew.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph P. Leonard Jr., and her brother John Zawisza, both in 2004
A Service of Remembrance liturgy took place Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St. corner of North St., Manchester.
Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
