TEWKSBURY - Pauline F. (Libby) Cote, age 90, an active member of the Tewksbury senior community, died Tuesday night, January 26, at the Blairehouse of Tewksbury following a long period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Everett W. Cote, who died in 1977.
She was born in Brighton, MA, on July 29, 1919, the daughter of the late Charles C. and Maxine (Adler) Libby. She was raised in Brighton and Medford and moved to Michael Street in Tewksbury in 1951.
She was a member of the Tewksbury Congregational Church, and the church's Ladies Aid Club. When her health permitted, she was a daily visitor to the Tewksbury Senior Center, and was a past officer of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club.
She was also a member of the National Retired Federal Employees organization, Chapter 360.
She is survived by a daughter Paula L Arsenault and her husband George of Bridgton, ME, a son, Clement C. Cote and his wife Dolores (Gouveia) of Nazareth, PA, a son-in-law, Leon Landry of Manchester, NH; eight grandchildren, Steven Landry, Carl Landry, Thomas Landry, Christine Labore all of Manchester, NH, William Landry of Epsom, NH, Cynthia Bretz of Erie, PA, David Cote of Lancaster, PA, and Andrew Cote of Belcamp, MD; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Lee Landry.
Her Funeral Service was held on Friday morning, January 29, in the Funeral Home. Following cremation, interment will be in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the charity of donor's choice will be appreciated.
