Daniel S. Cabral, age 80 of Fall River, passed away Jan. 25, 2010. Husband of Maria Da Luz (Pimentel) Cabral and was son of the late Jose Soares Cabral and Maria (Estrella Soares) Cabral. Born in Porto Formosa, Azores, he was a member of St. Michael Church. Before retiring, he was a Farmer in the Azores and a Construction Worker for Pacella Bros. in Plainville, MA. Daniel loved animals & gardening.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 5 children: Jose Cabral, Mary Martins, & Manuel Cabral all of Fall River, Maria Cabral Goldstein of Somerset, and Anna Cabral; 9 grandchildren: Eric & Brian Cabral, Stephanie Martins, Justin & Kyle Rego, Daniel Brogan, Tiffany & Autumn Cabral, and Lisa Camara; several brothers and sisters in Canada and the Azores, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Friday at 9:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 10:30AM. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
