Obituary

Roland H. Chasse, 66, of Manchester, NH died Tuesday September 23, 2003 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester. He was born on April 18, 1937 in Nashua, NH, a son of the late Aurele and Jeannette (Barriault) Chasse. He was a resident of Manchester for 18 years, formerly living in Salem and spent the winters in Tampa, FL. He was a graduate of Nashua High School, Class of 1955 and graduated second in his class at Newbury College, Boston, MA. He was a US Air Force Veteran. Mr. Chasse worked for Northeast Petroleum and Whalco for seven years as a member of the corporate staff. For nine years he was the Chief Financial Officer for Watertest Corp of America. He received the For God and Youth Award in 1968 from Bishop Primeau. Since 1991 he was a co-owner of Pretty Petals Florist in Londonderry with Real Mercier.

He is survived by two sons James Chasse, John Chasse, both of Nashua, one daughter, Barbara Storm of Nashua, two brothers, Paul Chasse, Maurice Chasse, both of Nashua. He was predeceased by one sister Pauline LaSalle.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday September 29th at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Avenue, Derry, NH. Graveside services will follow at 1:00pm at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry on Sunday from 6 - 8 PM.
