January 24, 2010, Taunton, Blanche A. (Fredette) Maranville of Raynham and Middleboro, born in New Bedford to George R. and Aurora (Laporte) Fredette, passed away peacefully at Golden Living Center-Wedgemere at the age of 87. Blanche was predeceased by her beloved husband off 33 years Marshall Maranville, her loving son of 28 years Neil K. Maranville, and her cherished companion of 22 years Enrico J. Curcio.Blanche is survived by a son Richard A. Maranville his wife Bonnie Maranville, two sisters Dorothy Gadbois her husband Henry Gadbois, and Irene Baron and her husband Louis Baron.Blanche has three grandsons Richard Maranville, Darren Maranville his wife Jodi and Edward M. Maranville. Blanche is also the great grandmother of Alicia Dawn Maranville, Michael Richard Maranville and Cole Tyler Maranville. Blanche is the aunt of Mark L. Baron and Susan D. Baron Blanche is survived by a dear cousin Irene Labonte Cahill. Blanche is also survived by a very close friend Janis Sirois and her husband Edward.Blanche is also survived, and will be missed by many of the caring and compassionate, personnel and fellow residents of the Wedgemere Nursing Facility, many of whom became a very important part of her family over the past few years.
Her Funeral services will be held Wednesday night at 7pm at the Taunton Funeral Home 8 Crapo St. (off Tremont St.) Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 5-7pm. Interment will be held at a later dater determined by the family.
