Aldora J. Cadorette, 84, of North Smithfield, formerly of Woonsocket, died Sunday at the Overlook Nursing Home in Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Gerard A. Cadorette.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Fedora (Blanchard) Fortier. She lived most of her life in Woonsocket before moving to North Smithfield where she has resided for the past 20 years.
Mrs. Cadorette was employed at the Stamina Mills for many years, and worked for the Desmond Corp. for over 20 years before retiring.
She was a devoted wife and mother and took great pride her grandsons.
She is survived by two sons, Denis R. Cadorette and his wife Lee of North Smithfield, and Paul D. Cadorette and his wife Susan of Belchertown, MA., for grandsons, James, David, Eric, and Daniel Cadorette. She was the sister of Emelda Ricard of Attleboro, and Amelia Richard of Woonsocket, and the late Edward, Emile, Leo, George, and Walter Fortier, and Ella Violette. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:00 am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements are by the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket.
