Kenneth E. Lague, 66

Kenneth E. Lague, 66, of Norton formerly of Mansfield and Milford passed away on Sunday January 24, 2010 in the presence of his adoring family at the Sturdy Memorial Hopspital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Yolanda A. (LaMonica) Lague to whom he married on September 18, 1982.
Born in Milford, MA on April 27, 1943 he was a son of the late Fred and Lois (LaMay) Lague.
Ken was raised and educated in Milford and was a 1961 graduate of Milford High School. He furthered his education in Computer Technology.
Until retiring in 2009 Mr. Lague was employed for 38 years at Factory Mutual in Norwood in the Information Specialist Department. He was very active in company events and while at Factory Mutual he was a member and former president of the 4:10 Club. He was a member of the company bowling league, the softball team where his position was a second baseman. Thru his affiliation with Factory Mutual he organized and coordinated getaway weekends to Point Sebago Campground in Maine.
The most important part of Ken’s life was his family. He shared with them his love of camping, fishing and teaching his children to ski. He was an extensive traveler and loved vacationing with family in St. Marten. Mr. Lague also enjoyed hosting theme parties at his home.
A resident of Norton for the past 28 years, he had formerly resided for several years in Mansfield and many years in Milford.
In addition to his beloved wife of over 27 years he is survived by his devoted children Dawn Denizkurt and her husband Jon of Plainville, Susan Colgan and her husband John of West Yarmouth, Renee Saccone of Attleboro, Michelle Proulx and her husband Kevin of Attleboro, Antoinette Hutcheon of Norton and William Hutcheon and his fiancée Kristen Keough of Attleboro. He was the dear brother of Sandra Askin and her husband Robert of Hancock, Vermont and the late Ronald Lague. Mr. Lague is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Anthony and Angelina Saccone, Nicole Haggerty, twins Christopher and Cameron Hutcheon, Maxx Denizkurt and Jaclyn and Samantha Colgan.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday January 27th from 5-8 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours on Wednesday at 8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers Kenneth’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
