Obituary

Lucille A. Bulman, 87, passed away at the Wingate Nursing Home in Sudbury on January 19th, 2010. She was born in Boston on May 20th, 1922 to her parents Joseph and Gertrude (Dolan) Ryan. Lucille has been a life-long resident of Malden. She is a graduate of Cheverus High School, Class of 1940. As a young woman, she worked as an operator for New England Telephone. She was a member of the Sacred Hearts Parish Women’s Club in Malden and was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She is survived by her daughter; Eileen T. Maroney and her husband John of Wayland; by her grandson David Bulman and by her sister Eleanor Carreiro and her husband Vincent of Wakefield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Along with her parents, Lucille was predeceased by her husband Joseph P. Bulman. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Saturday January 23rd at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lynn. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 22nd from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Red Cross, Attn: Haiti Relief & Development, P.O. Box 4002018, Des Moines, IA 50340-2018.
