Henry P. Barros, 62, of New Bedford died September 19, 2003 unexpectedly at home.
He was the son of the late Henrique DeBarros and Maria F. Pires.
Mr. Barros was born in Brava, Cape Verde and lived in New Bedford most of his life.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Mr. Barros was formerly employed as a paper carrier for the Standard-Times.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include 4 brothers, Edward H. Barros and John H. DeBarros, both of Dartmouth, George H. DeBarros of Seattle, Wash., and Joseph H. Barros of New Bedford; 3 sisters, Hilda F. DeBarros and Ana Barros, both of New Bedford and Priscilla Crisostomo of Lynn; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Victor Barros.
