WORCESTER-Robert S. “Bobby” Cole, Sr., 61, of Worcester, died Friday, January 15 in UMASS Memorial Hospital. He leaves his wife, Margaret (Holmes) Cole; five children, Robert W. Cole and his wife Cynthia of NC, Gary R. Cole of Foxboro, Nicole S. Graham of Worcester, Robert S. Graham of Rockville, CT and Tanya White of NC and twelve grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers, Kenneth E. Cole of Attleboro and Alfred L. Cole of Worcester and two sisters, Frances E. Cole of Cambridge and Patricia A. Cole-Wilkerson and her husband Carl Wilkerson of Boston; many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his first wife, Irene (Hussey) Cole in 2003, and five brothers, Emmett, Jr., Charles, Melvin, Richard and James Cole.
He was born in Boston, the son of Emmett and Mary (Lofton) Cole and graduated from Boston Trade School. Bobby worked at Spectrum Health Services in Westborough for many years. He was a member of Second Baptist Church.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 22 at 11:00 AM in Second Baptist Church, 14 Hammond Street. A calling hour will be held in church on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Second Baptist Church, 14 Hammond St., Worcester, MA 01610.
