Obituary

William Sinclair Heyniger IV passed away January 16, 2010 at Mary Elizabeth Nursing Center after a brief illness.

Born November 1, 1941 in New London, CT. Will was a graduate of Darrow School in New Lebanon, NY and William and Mary College in Williamsburg, VA. He loved the colonial history of the Williamsburg area and worked there in the hospitality business sharing his love of fine food and wine for many years.

Will always had a great spirit, love in his heart, a twinkle in his eye, and will be remembered for his generosity and friendly outgoing nature towards everyone he met.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Marjorie (Marnie) Green Heyniger of Mystic, CT; his brothers, John Green Heyniger and his wife Sophia McKee (Maya) of Stonington, and Edward (Ted) von Gal Heyniger of Palm Beach, FL; his sister, Marjorie (Heidi) Heyniger and her partner Kit Bryan of Mysti; his nephews, Sean Green Heyniger of Palm Beach, FL, John Mckee heyniger of Baltimore, MD, and William Sinclair Heyniger V of Stonington.

He was predeceased by his brother, Eric Evans Heyniger of Springfield, VT, and his father William Sinclair Heyniger III of Mystic, CT.

Will’s family would like to sincerely thank the Mary Elizabeth Nursing Center staff for their exceptional love and care of Will over the last several years.

His family will gather for a private service at the family plot at Central Cemetery in Rye, New Hampshire.
