LEOPOLD, ERNA (nee RAUTE), 96, of New Milford died on Saturday, January 16, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Harold F. Leopold (1970). Devoted mother of Erna M. Leopold, Harold and his late wife Sheila (1994) Leopold. Loving grandmother of Chris, Robert and Jane and cherished great grandmother of Melissa, Nicole, Robert Jr., Catlin and Danielle.
Erna was a member of the Women’s Club of Dumont since 1963. She was also a member of the 9th District Chorus.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations in Erna’s name to the New Milford Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 213 River Road, New Milford, NJ 07646.
