Augusta, GA – Mr. Harold Holbrook Mundy, Jr., age 65 beloved husband of Mrs. Debra Mundy entered into rest on Friday, January 15, 2010 at University Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Sharon Baptist Church in Appling, GA with the Rev. Andy Collins officiating. Interment will be held Monday afternoon at 3:00 PM at Williston Cemetery in Williston, SC.
Mr. Mundy was born in Windsor, SC. He worked for 35 years for Bell South where he retired as a Systems Technician. He was a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers Association and an active member of Sharon Baptist Church. Mr. Mundy enjoyed working around the house which he built and also enjoyed camping and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Mundy is survived by his two sons, Bryan and Brad Lundy; his brothers, Bill and Danny Mundy; and his sister, Cathy Eichman.
Pallbearers will be Justin Weathers, Jeramie Myers, Billy Mundy, and David Bodie.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening January 17, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
