Willie “Kenneth” Moore, 49, of Eldorado died Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at his home in Eldorado. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Wayne Driskell and Rev. Clinton Moore will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Howard Moore, Ricky Moore, Craig Moore, Crow Green, Randy Riner, Ricky Barnes, Joshua Markham and Jerry Hill will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Harrison Brown, Wayne Hill, Brett Davis, Shane Hill, Lindsey Hill, Jason Golden, Lance Golden, Michael Moore, Jerry Moore, Kenneth Rich, Rusty Moore, Richard Hill, John Rakestraw, Stan Mercer, Mark Dean, Darrell Moore, Melvin Hill, Donald Adcock, Terry Ward, Tony Tripp, Herman Brown and Timmy Domingue. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 15, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Moore was born on February 25, 1960 in Tifton and was the son of Willie Moore and Earline Hall Moore, both of Eldorado. He was a self-employed farmer with Willie Moore and Sons Farms. He was born and raised in Eldorado and was a graduate of Tift County High School. He was an avid fisherman and loved to cook. He also loved and collected old International tractors and loved farming and being a farmer, as well as being outdoors. He loved to get together every Tuesday night with his group.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Renae Lord Moore of Eldorado; one son, Willie Kenneth “Ken” Moore, Jr. of Tifton; one daughter, Robin Renae Moore of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Debra Moore of Tifton; and four nieces, Ashley Moore, Amy Moore, Anna Moore and Amber Connell.
