Lucy (Peluso) Santoro, of Medford, died Tuesday morning at home in the company of her loving family. She was 91.
Lucy was raised in the West End of Boston, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Frances (Minoa) Peluso. A Medford resident for over 70 years, Lucy worked as a seamstress throughout her life. She was devoted to her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Santoro. She was a devoted mother to Eugene Santoro and his wife Frances, Marie Bova and her husband John, all of Medford. She is lovingly survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Millie Peluso of Medford, Vincent of Framingham, Frank of N. Andover, Charles of FL, the late Domenic, Joseph and Jimmy Peluso.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, January 15th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
