RANEY, ROBERT LEE SR., 79, of Louisville, passed Monday January 11, 2010 at the Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He is a member of Mary Queen Of Peace Catholic Church, St Dennis Campus, American Legion Post #220, and U. S. Airforce veteran. He was still an active car driver for Avis & Budget Rental Cars.
Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Logsdon) Raney.
Survivors include his three children, Robert Lee Raney Jr., James William Raney and Rebecca Ann Gehm; a sister, Rosalee Lowery; a brother, Ronald Eugene Raney; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held noon Wednesday at Mary Queen of Peace, St Dennis Campus 4205 Cane Run Road with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
