Pauline (Delisle) Lessard 81, died January 9th at home. She was the wife of the late Ernest E. Lessard. They were married for 59 years. Born in Fitchburg, MA she was the daughter of the late William and Marie Louise (Fluet) Delisle. She was educated at St. Joseph School , Fitchburg, and graduated from St. Bernard High School in Fitchburg, Class of 1945. She was employed by Doehla Greeting Card Company until 1950 when she moved to Woonsocket.
Mrs. Lessard is survived by four sons, Gerard A. of Cumberland, Maurice A. of Uxbridge and his wife Robin, Ernest L. of Woonsocket and his wife Sharon, and Normand E. of Indiana; two daughters, Pauline A. and Annette L. of Woonsocket; a brother Francis Delisle of FL, four sisters Rita Fredette of Leominster, MA, Lucille Jacques of New Ipswich, NH, Germaine Caissie of Worcester, MA, and Constance Bouley of Spencer, MA., three grandchildren, Kylie, Ethan, and Nicole. She was the mother of the late Raymond E. Lessard who was valedictorian for the Class of 1974 at Mount St. Charles Academy. She was also the sister of the late Norman and Jean-Paul Delisle.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in Precious Blood Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 6:30 - 8:30 PM.
