Kathleen M. Walker, passed away suddenly, on Wednesday evening, September 17, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. The wife of Henry Walker, she was seventy-two years old.
Born and raised in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Kathleen and John O´Brien. Kathleen was a Woburn native most recently living in Billerica with her son.
She was employed as a secretary for over thirty years for the General Accounting Office in Boston before her retirement. She loved gardening and taking pictures, particulary with her family. She was devoted to raising Bill and Kathleen and most recently being with her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter Kathleen Dailey of Malden and her son William A. Walker and his wife Dilia of Billerica. Three loving grandchildren; Sarah, Christina and Isabelle Walker. Three brothers, Maurice O´Brien of Braintree, William O´Brien of Hull and Robert Monaco of Stoughton. Two sisters, Frances Hoefel of NH., and Marguerite MacPhail of Abington. She was predeceased by a sister Jean Blackstead
Her funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Wobun, on Monday, September 22, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church 280 Main St. Woburn at 9. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, September 21, from 3 thru 6.
