Obituary

Murielle D. (Crepeau) Malo, 81 of Woonsocket died at home surrounded by her family on January 9, 2010. She was the wife of Normand Malo. They celebrated their 60th wedding Anniversary on July 30, 2009, A lifelong city resident, she was the daughter of the late Romeo Crepeau and Lucienne (Goulet) Brissette.

Murielle worked as a Telephone Operator for the New England Telephone Company and the Woonsocket Answering Services, and as a receptionist at NRI Community Services, where she was recognized as Employee of the Year in 1995. She retired in 1996.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Elaine P. Joseph of East Providence, Linda L. Nadeau and her husband Joseph of Woonsocket, Jeannine L. Brooks and her husband Kenneth of North Smithfield, and Judy H. Bolzani of Bellingham; a sister Pauline Glaude of Woonsocket, a brother Romeo Crepeau of Woonsocket ; seven grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole, Jonathan, Jeremy, Thomas, Brandon, and Allison. She was the lifelong special friend of Lucille (Malo) Lavallee of Delray Beach, FL.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday 4-8 PM. Donations in her memory can be sent to NRI Community Services PO Box 1700 Woonsocket, RI 02895.
