WORCESTER-Phyllis A. (Cahill) Gagne, 79, of Worcester, died Saturday, January 9th at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband, Gunnery Sergeant Paul R. Gagne, USMC died in 1966. She leaves three daughters, Jean M. Blackwood-LaBonte and her husband Jeffrey LaBonte of Oxford, Paula A. Valentino, and her husband, Randolph Valentino and Donna M. Warren, and her husband, Lee Warren, both of Worcester; two sisters, Norma Hoffman of Worcester and Laura Dutkiewicz of North Brookfield; four grandchildren, Kevin, Kerry, Leigh Ann and Kayla; and a great-granddaughter, Giavanna Bella. Her sister Marie Gordon predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Philip A. and Corrine E. (Shepard) Cahill; and was a graduate of Commerce High School. Phyllis enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and playing cards with her sisters.
The funeral is Thursday, January 14th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, January 13th, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
