Florence M. (Faiella) DelSignore, 88 of Franklin died January 8 in the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Lawrence DelSignore who died in 1994.
Born in East Boston, June 22, 1921 the daughter of the late Angelo and Crestina (DelSignore) Faiella,
Mrs. Delsignore had lived in Dorchester for many years before moving to Franklin in 1997.
Mrs. DelSignore enjoyed cooking, doing puzzles and being with her family.
She is survived by her children George DelSignore and his wife Elizabeth of Franklin, Lawrence DelSignore of Rindge, New Hampshire and Elaine DelSignore of Phillipston, Ma. She was the mother of the late Loretta Antonowitch.
She is also survived by her sister Michelina Landolfi of North Reading, she was the sister of the late Eda DiRocco, Orlando Faiella, Mary DiCenzo, Roger Faiella, Pasquale Faiella, Teresa Mirabello, Rose Petruccelli, Felix Faiella and Jenny Petruccelli.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Anthony and Jonathan Antonowitch, Stephanie, Stacy, Steven, Timothy and Andrew DelSignore and great-granddaughter Kayla.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 13 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
