Mrs. Rita Anne Pitts, 67 of Malden, formerly of Medford died Friday in the Golden Living Center in Malden. She is the wife of the late Vernon Pitts. Mrs. Pitts was born in Malden, daughter of the late Antonio and Edwina (Trundy) Mocogni. She was a popular volunteer at the Suffolk Manor Nursing Home in Malden. She loved to dance and spend time with her beloved grandson Spencer. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Aguiar-Bennington and her husband Jim of Malden, two sons, Brian and Jason Pitts both of Malden. She will be sadly missed by her “extended family”, also known as her cats Gloves & Stix. Friends may call Monday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 315 Main Street, Malden, Tuesday at 10 AM. Burial will be follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
