Obituary

Elsie A. (Peterson) Grayson, of Kingston. January 7, 2010. She was 92 years old. Daughter of the late Mr. Charles & Mrs. Ellen (Bjorkman) Peterson of Hyde Park. Wife of the late Richard D. Grayson Sr.
Mrs. Grayson graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1934, married in 1936, and was a homemaker until after her husband’s death in Dec.1973. She was a home health aid for Cura of Plymouth for many years providing in home care for many patients including terminal cancer clients. She has been residing at Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Duxbury for just over two years.
Mrs. Grayson is survived by her sister Ms. Eunice Tosi of Norwood, her brother Mr. Charles Peterson of St. Petersburg. Survived by her daughter’s, Ms. Janice L. Grayson of Tucson, Mrs. Patricia A. Brindley of Brockton, and her son Mr. Richard D. Grayson Jr. and her daughter in law Mrs. Jean A. Grayson of Kingston. She was also Mother in law to the late Mr. George J. Brindley of Brockton. She leaves 7 grandchildren: Ms. Brenda L. Brindley of ME, Ms. Joanne L. Brindley of Brockton, Ms. Kristen Zigouras of NY, Mr. James S. Morse of Wareham, Mr. Jeff Morse of Tucson, Mrs. Karen J. Raymond of Kingston, Ms. Susan M. Grayson of Pembroke, and 8 great grandchildren: Ms. Melissa Brindley Oksman of Brockton, Ms. Kaitlyn Morse of Franklin, Ms. Laurie Maggi of Tucson, Ms. Victoria Morse of Wareham, Ms. Alyssa Morse of Wareham, Ms. Sofia Zigouras of NY, Master William Raymond of Kingston, and Ms. Olivia Raymond of Kingston. She also leaves on great grandchild, Ms. Addison Marie Craven of Tucson.
Mrs. Grayson will be interred at Forest Hills Cemetery in Jamaica Plain with her husband. There will be a private graveside service. If you wish, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers.
