Manchester– Bertha Rachel (Michaud) Dyrkacz, 94, died January 5, 2010 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on January 12, 1915, the daughter of Adhemar and Rose (Roy) Michaud. She had been a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Prior to her retirement she had worked in the Waumbec Mills.
In her younger years she volunteered at the Soup Kitchen. She enjoyed get togethers with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter P. Dyrkacz on April 23, 1956.
Family members include one daughter, Rosemarie Osgood of Manchester, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, one brother Robert Michaud of Goffstown.
Services: Calling hours will be on Friday from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St. Manchester.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM following calling hours in St. Pius X Church, Candia Rd.
Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brown Ave.
