William J. Glod, 61, of Derry died June 29, 2003 in his home. Bill was born in Manchester on June 18, 1942 the son of the late William J. and Jane H. (Wojdyla) Glod and was a resident of East Derry since 1970. He served in the US Navy from August 1960 to August 1962 on the USS Shenandoah. Bill was a welder by trade and enjoyed rebuilding trucks and farm tractors. He also spent many hours talking with and helping friends with their home projects. Bill loved to talk and will be missed.
He is survived by eight first cousins.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 27th at 10:30am in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry handled the arrangements.
