Kathleen (Forrest) Moynihan, 66 of Walpole died suddenly January 6 at her home.
Born in Norwood, January 23, 1943 the daughter of the late Francis “Huck” and Attillia “Tillie” (Gallo) Forrest, Mrs. Moynihan was a lifelong Walpole resident.
She was a graduate of Walpole High School.
Mrs. Moynihan had been a secretary for over 20 years for the Cushing Properties Company. She had previously worked for the Walpole Times and Daily Transcript Newspapers.
Kathy loved to read and spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite thing to do.
She is survived by her daughter Erin Deeham and her husband Christopher of East Walpole and Kerry Welch of Wellesley.
She is also survived by her sisters Judith Santosusso of Norwood, Mary McQuaid of Fitchburg and Diane Newman of Dedham.
She also survived by her grandchildren, Liam, Reese and Gwyneth.
She was also the niece of Joseph and Nellie Gallo of Walpole and former wife of Thomas Moynihan.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, January 11 from the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main St. in Walpole at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 5-8 p.m.
