Claire M. Darling (Thompson), died at Caritas Norwood Hospital January 5, 2010 after a long illness. She was 73. Claire worked as a property manager for over 30 years until retiring several years ago. Beloved wife of Howard K. Darling of Canton. Former wife of Robert J. Schools of Quincy. Loving mother of Robert J. Schools Jr. and his wife Sue of N. Carolina and Claire A MacLaughlin and her husband Ronald of Falmouth. Step-mother of Kevin H. Darling of Boston and Kerrri A. Darling of Quincy. Sister of Margaret Rettman of Franklin, Joseph Thompson of LA, Harry Thompson of VT and the late Patricia Sullivan. Proud grandmother of Kelly Maclaughlin and Simone Darling. Visiting hours in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton on Friday 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
