Jeannette R. (Berube) Beauchesne, 101, of Lawrence, died on Monday, January 4, 2010 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center in Lawrence.
Jeannette was born and raised in Lawrence and was a lifelong resident of the city. She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church in Lawrence. She had worked at Rutter’s Laundry, the Pacific Mills and retired from the Raytheon Corporation.
She was the widow of William J. Beauchesne. She is survived by her daughter Claire and her husband Raymond M. Chasse of Fremont, NH, two grandsons, Mark J. and his wife Denise (Desruisseaux) Chasse of Fremont, NH and Craig W. Chasse and his friend Rebecca Purpura of Deering, NH, a great-granddaughter Kailyn R. Chasse of Fremont, NH, a sister, Lucille Sirois of Lawrence and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Elzear and Roseanna (Lachance) Berube and was predeceased by her brother Alfred Berube and sisters, Marcelle Cody, Lillian Lacroix, Rita Simmons, Florence Lafontaine, Irene Marcoux, Doris Bastien, Louise Plante and Sister Theresa Berube, SCIM. She also leaves a caring and loving extended family at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home.
Friends are invited to call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday January 7th at the Arthur J. Scott Funeral Home, 298 S. Broadway, Lawrence. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Parish in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover. Donations in Jeannette’s name may be made to the Mary Immaculate Nursing/Restorative Center, 172 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA.
