Robert W. Gray 82, formerly of 238 May St. died Wednesday, Sept. 17 in the Jewish Healthcare Center, after a long illness.

He leaves his wife of 60 years, Dorothy K. (Moran) Gray; five children, Robert W. Gray, Dorothy-Ann Thunberg, and Donna M. Mahan all of Worcester, Pamela J. Landry of Holden and Paul M. Gray a Overseas Missionary; a brother, Edwin Gray of Worcester; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. He was born in Concord, NH, son of Arthur E. and Marion (Coombs) Gray. He graduated from Classical High School and Becker College. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a Office Manager in the Shipping Department of National Standard Company, for several years before retiring. He was a avid golfer and enjoyed Cape Cod and was a devoted family man. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church.

A Funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME 1 West Boylston St. West Boylston, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church 341 June St. Burial will be at Saint John’s Cemetery. Calling Hours are Friday, Sept.19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
