Richard C. Lahaise, a lifelong resident of West Roxbury passed away on January 3, 2010. He was 68 years old.
Born in Boston, Richard earned an Associate's Degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Following in his father Henri's footsteps, Richard was a 4th generation pipe organ specialist, repairing and tuning organs for many Boston area churches since the early 1960's. Richard was a devoted Grandpa and loved spending time with his family.
Richard was the dear and devoted husband of the late Judith (Bell). Loving father of William Lahaise and his wife Ulrike of Georgia, Diane LaCole of Georgia and John Lahaise and his wife Patricia of Norwood. Loving grandfather “Grampa Dick” of Corinne, Alyssa, Connor and Tessa. Dear brother of the late Marie “Flo” Ryan and Robert Lahaise. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Richard's Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Theresa of Avila Church, Thursday January 7, 2010.
