Obituary

Travis Sauls, 24, of Berrien County died Tuesday, September 29, 2009, in Berrien County. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2010, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Joseph Crumley will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Steve Walters, Mitchell Weldon, Ronald Stephens, David Mathis, Charlie Hutchinson and Richard Hall will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chas Stephens, Blake Hurst, Share’ Rivard and Turner Sauls. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 8, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mr. Sauls was born on November 22, 1984 in Tift County and was the son of Randall Eugene Sauls of Worth County and Tina Joy Yates Hall of Berrien County. He was a construction worker. He was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Jean Yates; and his step grandfather, Tillman Hall.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sauls is survived by his step-father, Richard Hall of Berrien County; two daughters, Alexis Leigh Joiner of Missouri and Brianna Wetherington of Hahira; one step-brother, Brandon Scott Parker of Worth County; two sisters, Jennifer Walters of Tifton and Deidra Weldon of Omega; paternal grandparents, Verlin and Laverne Sauls of Worth County; maternal grandparents, Judith Nichols of Tifton and James Yates of Florida; step grandmother, Jeanette Hall of Enigma; and one nephew, Willie Weldon of Omega.
