MICHAEL SALVATORE GIUFFRE

Michael “Mike” Salvatore Giuffre, 67, of Summerville, husband of Sharol J. Giuffre died Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Hospice Center of Charleston.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Mr. Giuffre at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Ave., Summerville on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 9 o’clock. Burial is private.

Mr. Giuffre was born October 12, 1942 in San Francisco, CA, son of the late Salvatore Giuffre and Kathryn Maggio Giuffre. He attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory, San Francisco, CA, St. Mary’s College, Moraga, CA, University of California at Berkeley, CA, and the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. He loved reading, tennis, golf, mathematics, lifelong love of learning and he was an avid Red Sox Baseball fan but most of all a devout Catholic. He was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church and retired as a Project Manager for The Analytic Sciences Corporation.

Survivors, including his wife, are one sister; Yvonne Klech and her husband Bill of San Ramon, CA, and two nephews; Bryan Klech of San Mateo, CA and David Klech of San Ramon, CA.
