COCHITUATE: Norma I. (Keith) Miller, 86, died peacefully in the comfort of her family at her residence on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Boston on December 18, 1923 the daughter of the late Charles R. Keith and Edith B. (O’Connor) Keith.
Norma was the beloved wife for 52 years of the late Harrison C. “Clint” Miller who died in September of 1995. She was the mother of Jane Chouinard of Ashland; Susan Hunter and her husband Gerard of Wolfeboro, NH; Diane Miller of Framingham and Ellen Hatch and her husband William of Framingham. She was the grandmother of Paul Miller and his wife Lillian of North Andover; Bryan Chouinard of Boca Raton, FL, Matthew Chouinard and his wife Kelley of Ashland and the late Brianna Miller who died in 1994 as well as Great-grandmother of Alesandra, Paul and Isabela Miller and Emily and Joey Chouinard. She was the sister of the late Charles, William, Donald, James and Paul Keith. Also survived by several nieces and nephews
Norma has been a resident of Cochituate for over 61 years and spent her formative years in Allston. She was a graduate of Brighton High School. She had a long career as a bookkeeper and retired after many years of dedicated service with Johnson and Gordon Jewelers of Framingham. She enjoyed her family, loved to play bingo, and spending time at her summer residence in Eastham.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Route 30), Cochituate.
Her funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Trinitarian Congregational Church, 52 Cochituate Rd (Rte 27), Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Miller family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Cochituate.
