In Brockton, December 31, 2009 Edward J. Beauregard, age 84 died after a brief illness in Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital. Edward was the husband of Nancy (Munise) Beauregard. He was born in Attleboro to his late parents Joseph & Diana (Lemeiux) Beauregard. Edward has lived in Taunton for the last 34 years and was formerly of Attleboro. He was employed at the former Defiance Bleachery in Norton and the Sil-Med Co. in Taunton in the security and maintenance Departments. He enjoyed time with his grandchildren and family. Edward also leaves his children Douglas Beauregard and his wife Karen of Conway, N.H., Bruce Beauregard of North Attleboro, Cynthia Proulx and her husband Wayne of Rehoboth and his step daughter May Brooks and husband Frank of Taunton. His brother Thomas Beauregard of North Attleboro. His nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. His sister in law Karoline Charron of Taunton. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Monday, Jan. 4th at 8pm. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours from 6-8pm. on Monday prior to the service. Burial is private at the request of the family.
