MATTHEWS, GUY A., 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2009.
He was a retired employee of LG&E.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Taylor Matthews.
Survivors include his children, Glenda Matthews, Samuel A. Matthews, Marilyn Nall, Virgil W. Matthews, (Cindy), Harold L. Matthews (Roseanna), Joseph T. Matthews, and Scott L. Matthews, Sr. (Kim); 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Frank Embrey Cemetery, Grayson County, KY.
Visitation will be 19 p.m. Saturday.
