In Taunton, December 27, 2009 Bronislaus T. Dervis, age 86 died in Morton Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Edith (Stosckek) Dervis of Dighton. He was born in Meriden, CT. to his late parents Valentine & Marianna (Wojnowski) Dervis. Bronislaus has lived in Dighton since 1964 and resided in CT. prior to that. He was educated in CT. schools, later graduating from Tri State College in Indiana. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was employed at the Raytheon Co. as an electrical engineer. He enjoyed researching different topics especially history, reading and woodworking. He was a member of the Somerset Gun Club. Bronislaus also leaves his loving daughter Elaine Gonczi and her husband Steve of Berkley. His grandchildren Kathleen and Mathias Gonczi both of Berkley. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Monday, Jan. 4th at 6pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visiting hours from 4-6pm. on Monday. Interment is private at the request of the family.
