Miss Tammy J. Doyle, of Ashland, Maine, died Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at her sister’s home surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness. She was born 42 years ago in Boston, the daughter of Leo M. Doyle of Punta Gorda, Fla. and Mary (Lydon) Doyle of Mansfield, Ma. She was educated in Mansfield and had attended Unity College in Maine. Prior to her illness, Tammy was a graduate of the Maine State Police Academy. After graduation, she was assigned to the F Troop, where she worked for over 12 years. During this time she became a top handler and trainer in their K9 unit. In addition, Tammy was also a member of the Maine Humane Society of Aroostook County, where she was an avid advocate for animals. Tammy also operated an animal rescue service in Maine.

Devlin Doyle of Sarasota, Fla.
1 grand nephew: Zachary Peirce of Taunton

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jude the Apostle Church. 249 Whittenton Street, Taunton on Monday, January 4 at 5:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours are omitted.
