TYNGSBORO - Kevin Dane, age 55, died Tuesday, December 29, in New Hampshire after an extended illness. He was the former husband of Linda (Roux) Chestnut of Sebastian, FL. He was born in Boston, September 8, 1954, a son of the late George and Marilyn (Miller) Dane.
He was raised and attended high school in Quincy. He continued his education receiving his boiler engineer license and worked at Boston Generation formerly known as Boston Edison. He lived several years in Tewksbury before moving to Tyngsboro.
Despite his illness, he kept his spirits high by traveling, most recently returning from a cruise.
He is survived by a son, Sean Dane of Nashua, NH, three daughters and a son-in-law; Victoria Dane of Brooklyn, NY, Sarah and her husband John Rondeau of Sebastian, FL, Bethany Dane of Nashua, NH; two sisters and a brother-in-law; Coral (Epply) and Thomas Stephens of Londonderry, NH, Charlotte McCarthy of Londonderry, NH, a brother and sister-in-law; Timothy and his wife Janice (Mullally) Dane of Quincy, four grandchildren; Ava and Kasey Rondeau, Jakob and Jameson Dane, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including Betty and Jamie Enwright of Dracut.
He was the brother of the late Christopher Epply and Brian Dane.
His Funeral was Monday in St. William Church, 1351 Main St., Tewksbury. Burial at Oakland Cemetery in Dracut will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Building 9, Lawrence, MA 01843, or American Liver Foundation, New England Chapter, 88 Winchester St., Newton, MA 02461, will be appreciated.
