Barbara M. (Green) Martin, 77, of New Bedford died December 28, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Edward S. Martin, Sr.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of the late Margaret (Green) Gragg, she lived in Fall River and New Bedford most of her life.
She attended Cape Way Adult Day Care.
Survivors include her daughter, Anne DeMoranville of Dartmouth; 2 sons, Eugene Martin of Middleboro and Edward Martin, Jr. of New Bedford; 8 grandchildren including Susan DeMoranville and Trina Martin; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Henry Green.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Thursday, December 31st at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, December 30th from 5-9 PM.
