WORCESTER-Martha A. (Saltus) Graham, 88, of 170 Lovell Street formerly of 33 Circuit Avenue died Monday, September 15th at The Meadows of Leicester. Her husband, John I. Graham died in 1983. She leaves 3 daughters, Susan G. Arnold of Sturbridge, Judy A. Graham and Jacqueline M. Graham both of Worcester; a granddaughter, Jennifer A. Novelline of Holliston; 2 great grandchildren, Casey Novelline and Cooper Novelline both of Holliston. A sister, Helen Lyons predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Urban F. and Marion A. (Fortin) Saltus and graduated from South High School in 1933. Mrs. Graham worked as a clerk typist for the Worcester City Clerk’s Office for many years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church Women’s Guild.
The funeral Mass will be Tuesday, September 23rd at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mass Association for the Blind, 799 West Boylston Street, Worcester, Massachusetts, 01606.
