MILDRED G. (TROHON) RAY, 82, died on Sunday, Dec. 27th, 2009 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Ms Ray was born in Melrose and resided in Scituate, Hingham and most recently in Brockton. During her many years in Hingham, she worked for a number of local businesses including, Pyrotector, Inc. as a tester. She was an accomplished artist in ceramics and over the years taught her craft to a great many students.
She was the wife of the late Edgar Morin, the late Ralph Ray and the late Ernest W. Clark; and mother of William E. Morin of Brockton, Ralph W. Chevalier-Ray of Weymouth, Brian H. Ray, Sr. of Abington and Ronald A. Ray of Hull. Aunt of Shirley Sydney of Scituate. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ms Ray was predeceased by her brothers William Flynn and Edgar Trohon; and sister Ethel Sydney.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, Dec. 31st at 11 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham. Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.

Interment in High Street Cemetery, Hingham.
