Arthur C. Potter, 81, of Mattapoisett, died December 26, 2009 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Cecilie Cornell Potter; two children, Gunnery Sergeant Caleb C. Potter, U.S. Marine Corps (retired), of Cypress, Texas, and Alicia A. Potter, of Boston; and one grandchild.
Born in Fall River, Arthur was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Shriners, the Pythagorean Lodge, A.F. & A.M., in Marion, and the Mattapoisett American Legion. He enjoyed walking and spending time with his family.
Services will be private at a later date.
