Obituary

Mr. Antonio Lucia, age 92, a lifelong Medford resident died Saturday in the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford. He was the husband of Florence (D’Orsi) Lucia with whom he shared more than 62 years of marriage.
Mr. Lucia was born in Boston’s North End the son of the late Ralph and the late Angelina (Limongelli) Lucia. He served in the Army during WWII.
In earlier year he was employed as a truck driver for Karas & Karas Glass Company for over 20 years. During that time he was a member of Union #1044. He was also a member of the Medford V.F.W. Mr. Lucia enjoyed trying his luck with lottery tickets and was not opposed to occasional trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox and a variety of shows on television. He used to love to go dancing with his wife.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Stephen Lucia of Medford, 4 grandchildren Jayna, Christina, Jessica & Angela; and 4 great grandchildren. two sisters, Carmela D'Agostino of FL. and Albina Cain of Woburn and is brother of the late Frank Lucia and Rose DiStefano.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Clement Church 71 Warner St. Medford Wednesday at 10:00 am. Burial will be follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours in the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street MEDFORD Tuesday 3-7 pm.
