ALICE F. (CHRISTIAN) LANDRY; 86
Mrs. Alice Francis (Christian) Landry, age 86, of , Maine, formerly of Dracut, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2009 at the Maine Veterans Home in So. Paris, Maine. She was the widow of Edgar E. Landry.
She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on May 9, 1923, the daughter of the late Laura (Marion) Christian and Henry David Christian. She made her home most of her life in the town of Dracut, Massachusetts with her husband and children.
She was married October 27, 1945 to Edgar E. Landry. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, camping and bingo. She was a member of St. Rita's Parish in Lowell, MA.
Alice is survived by her three children, Elaine Vaillancourt and her husband Rudolph, Diane Dionne and her husband Edward and her son Roger Landry all of Maine; a brother, Donald Christian of Lowell; two sisters, Florence Lequin of Lowell, and Rolande Jean of Dracut; she was also the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Richard E. Landry and Paul Victor Landry; and sister of the late Armand, Raymond, Robert, David and Emile Christian.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives & Friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday Dec. 29, from 5:00-8:00 PM at the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, MA 01854. Funeral Wednesday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Rita's Church, 158 Mammoth Rd., Lowell. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
