DWYER Nancy (Steigerwalt) of North Hill, Needham formerly of Wellesley Hills and Pittsburgh, PA., Dec. 24, 2009. Born in Pittsburgh, PA., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor (Latshaw) Steigerwalt. She was a graduate of Winchester Thurston High School in Pittsburgh, PA to which she remained an active alumna even until recently. She played and starred in many plays in the late 30’s and early 40’s through the Pittsburgh Play House. Late member of The University Club, Pittsburgh, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and The Wellesley College Club.
Beloved wife of Vincent C. Dwyer Jr. Devoted mother of Vincent C. Dwyer III of Jefferson, Maine. Loving grandmother of Kara Atkins of Manasass, VA. Vincent C. Dwyer IV of Milford. Great grandmother of Douglas J. Dwyer of Milford.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 477 Washington St. (RT 16) WELLESLEY Tuesday at 10AM. Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley at 11AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday from 4-8PM. Interment private.
