Carol Jean Driscoll

Ft. Myers, FL - Carol Jean (White) Driscoll, age 59, a member of a large well known Tewksbury family, died on Christmas day, her birthday, peacefully, following a long period of declining health.
She was born in Cambridge, December 25, 1950, one of eleven children of the late John A. White Jr. and the late Eleanor (McCarthy) White. She was raised on Mystic Avenue in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School with the Class of 1968. She went on to earn her Associates Degree as a paralegal at Middlesex Community College. She was employed for 25 years as a paralegal for Attorney David Hart. She lived in Tyngsboro before retiring to Florida in 2004, and summered in Kennebunk, Maine. Since moving to Ft. Myers, she had worked at the Red Sox Training Center's Gift Shop, and had developed many friendships with current and former Red Sox families.
She is survived by Lawrence P. Driscoll, two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachael May and Richard Weinhold of Rindge, NH, Renee April and Paul Dowd of Cape Coral, FL; four grandchildren, Ethan and Ella Weinhold, and Ronan and Colin Dowd; nine siblings, Eleanor and husband James Celino of Dracut, John A. and wife Marcia (Taylor) White III of Wilmont, NH, Linda and husband Ronald Roy of Tewksbury, Wayne R. and wife Ann (Flood) White of Lowell, William D. and wife Constance (Peabody) White of Pinellas Park, FL, Gerald P. and wife Donna (Bagnulo) White of No. Andover, Bryan J. and wife Marianne (O'Malley) White of Weston, FL, Judith and husband Robert DesMeules of Goffstown, NH; Kevin J. White of Lowell; many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and a lifelong dear friend, Linda Giles of Lowell.
She was a sister of the late Diane White.
Relatives and friends were received Wednesday. Her funeral was Thursday, Dec. 31, at St. Dorothy's Church. Cremation services will be private. Kindly omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1 Bulfinch Pl., 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114, will be appreciated.
