Albert Camara, age 66 of Swansea passed away suddenly at work December 20, 2009. Husband of Linda (Santos) Camara and son of the late Manuel and Silvana (Almeida) Camara. Born in Portugal, he was the former proprietor of Seaboard Foundry in Johnson, RI and now manager of Whitman Castings. He was a member of St. Louis de France Church.
Besides his wife of Swansea, he is survived by 4 sons: William Camara & wife Marcie, Robert Camara & wife Wendy of Swansea, Michael Camara and wife Sarah of Swansea and James Camara & wife Laura of Swansea, MA. 1 sister: Bertha Tripp of Fall River; 2 grandchildren: Zachary & William Camara and several nieces & nephews. He was brother of the late Elizabeth Camara.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Monday here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Service in the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 2-6 PM.
