Robert L. Di Schino - Of Wellesley, December 20, 2009, age 84. Born in Wellesley April 23, 1925. Son of the late Damiano and Erminia (DiCecca) Di Schino. He leaves his beloved wife Dorothy (Logue) and his children, Dennis Di Schino of Wellesley, Daniel Di Schino and his wife Hallie Sammartino of Needham, Kevin Di Schino of Wellesley, Charles Di Schino of Burlington, VT, Deborah Ryan and her husband Keith of Atlanta, GA, William Di Schino and his wife Barbara of Medfield, Robert Di Schino and his wife Carolyn of Kittery Point, ME. Father of the late Gerard Di Schino of Saunderstown, RI. Grandfather of 13, great grandfather of 2.

Mr. Di Schino was a graduate of Cranwell Preporatory School, 1943. He received his undergraduate degree in 1960 and a Master's degree in Education in 1960 both from Boston College. Mr. Di Schino was a Navy Veteran of WWII serving on the USS Lewis, for which he received 2 battle stars. After college he started a career in residential home building as a partner in the family owned Triangle Construction Co. He also worked as a teacher in the Dover-Sherborn school system for 20 years, and later he was the founder and president of the Welleslyan Co. Mr. Di Schino was a long time member of both the Wellesley Town Meeting the The Planning Board, and was Past President of the Wellesley Club. He was inducted into the Knights of Malta in 2005 and served as a member of the Boston/Wellesley Advancement Committee, Sisters of Charity, Halifax.
